| Bio: |  Journo with almost 30 years experience at Reuters, the International Herald Tribune and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Online since 1995 and seriously addicted since September 11, 2001. First blogged in 2002. Still bitter that when I tried to get friends and former colleagues around the world to start a group blog, also in 2002, all but one turned me down. Some asked, “What’s a blog?” Others said, “I only write for money.” One even got mad at me for merely daring to ask. I’m still wistful for what might have been and hope all those that turned me down now realize the error of their ways.
In any case, since then I’ve tried various blogs, most of which didn’t work until I started a pseudonymous one just over a year ago that endures. In the next few weeks, I’ll be setting up a new non-pseudonymous blog.
I’m interested in Assignment Zero for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is the networking
