What to ask a Wikipeida supercontributor?
1. Do you think Wikipedia, a crowdsourced site, would be the world’s largest encyclopedia it wastoday without super-contributors like yourself?
2. As a contributor to the site you don’t get credit for your work on Wikipedia, why do you do it? What motivates you?
3. Do you think Wikipedia should try and appeal to those who contribute only occasionally to try and further expand the site? Why or why not?
4. Having the status of a super-contributor do you feel you inspire others to get involved? Do you think it is your duty?
5. In your opinion, are there any disadvantages of super-contributors dominating the amount of content on crowdsourced sites such as Wikipedia?
6. If its true what founder Jim Wales says, that the most active 2% have done 73.4% of the edits, then is the site truly a crowdsourced site? Or does that make it more like a traditional organization?
7. How many hours a day/week do you spend on Wikipedia? What do your daily tasks include?
