The Expert Social Bookmarker

Over at the Citizendium topic the main discussion is about traditional crowdsourcing: getting the crowd to do things for free versus expert crowdsourcing -- finding individuals that can be considered experts at something and giving them a hire position in the ranks of the crowd. Even paying them.

This is something that Netscape did with some controversy.

They are "expert social bookmarkers."

Just a note on how Netscape has made itself somewhat different. My personal interest in social news sites is seeing how they will become more niche -- as another AZ reporter brought up Tweako, which is a good example of what I mean.
